The Date has been saved!

We have our Save the Dates in! We went through Shutterfly and I am SO happy with the results! They always run different sales so I was on the look out! I got 250 save the dates (with envelopes) for $53! and that included the shipping!!! They came out amazing! We haven't had engagement pictures done yet because we are waiting for nicer weather (Michigan winter's don't always cooperate) so we used pictures from our Christmas card shoot. (Photo credit Marion Photography out of Grand Rapids MI). I even have them all in envelopes, addressed (for the addresses I have), stamped, and most of them are already in the mail! We had a meeting with a DJ and loved him! We have sent in our deposit and are excited to have one more thing done! His name is Scott Ptak and he has been voted "best of the Knot" a few times! He has amazing energy and seems to go above and beyond for his clients! The more things that we get done the more and more real it is all feeling!

Spring is FINALLY here!

I live in Michigan and I think the state never got the memo that it is supposed to be spring! I believe today is the first real day of spring, we do not have any more snow in our forecast! I am so ready to be able to get outside more! A few things have happened since I last posted. 1. I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT! My only sister is pregnant! I'm so excited! She is due in October so she will be about 7 months pregnant in my wedding! 2. We picked bridesmaid dresses and everyone has theirs ordered! I am really excited about them! They look amazing on everyone! I hope everyone is comfortable in them. The girls will be wearing navy blue dresses and the guys are in gray tuxes. 3. Paul (my fiance), Maddie (his daughter), and I took a road trip to Maryland and DC over spring break. Paul spent the first 12 years of his life in Maryland so it was super fun to see where he grew up. His dad has an apartment there because he works in DC so we got to spend some time with him as

Engagement Party

What a wonderful weekend! To kick off the weekend my cousin and her family sent me an engagement present! She MADE me this awesome shirt! I am so lucky to have cool family like this! I also finally decided to order my KEEP jewelry from the party I hosted a few months ago! Check out these personalized bracelets that I finally got in! They have my two little loves on them! I do not sell KEEP but I sure do see another party in my near future! Friday night one of my bridesmaids invited me out to a hockey game for our local team! The best man in our wedding even hooked us up with free tickets! It is so nice to get to spend extra time with our friends! I wish my fiancé Paul could have been there but he is still working in Ann Arbor. My sister, and matron of honor, threw us a wonderful engagement party!
